    A. I haven't applied to any universities before, that's why I now want to apply to this university in Australia.
    - Is this sentence grammatical?

    It's grammtical in spoken english, but I'd sugget diong this in the written-spoken form:

    I haven't applied to any universities before and that's why I now want to apply to this university in Australia.
