Question Listening problem

Dear Teachers,
I'm a student in Vietnam. I love to study English (it's a very interesting leanguage), but I have problem with listening skill. Could you give me some advise that can help me to improve my listening? I haven't had an effective way to study this skill yet.
I'll expect your reply so much.

Smile Re: Listening problem

One American told me before that to improve my listening skill, this exercise might help:

Listen to a song on the radio, a song you have not previously known and try to jot the lyrics down while listening to the song. Well, you can search for the lyrics of the song on-line afterwards to check if you wrote the right one. This activity will make you to listen intently.

I hope this helps!

Thanks very much for your help. I also usually listen the songs, but it's just for relaxation. I'll try to use it for my listening practice.

Oh, I'm not a teacher. I'm just an avid English learner as you are.

listening to songs well helped but don't trust them for correct grammar. they have what you call "license" for that.

what is most helpful is listen to English NEWS. High English grammar accuracy and anunciation.
