crashed on her One day, Jack met a beauty named Rose. He crashed on her at the first sight. After they understood each other, he decided to date her out.
Do the underlined parts sound right? Should I reword them as "He had a crash on her" and "ask her out/date her" respectively? Thanks.

Re: crashed on her I am also a student myself. I think you mean -----I had a crush on her. Your sentence---He crashed on her--- seems scary for me. Crash also means to smash, to break violently or noisily.

Teacher Re: crashed on her BTW "crashed on her" is something you can often say of computers!
She had just finished her homework, but suddenly the computer crashed on her and wasted two hours' work.

it means that you are fall in love to somebody .
Ex) She is stunning!!. I've crushed on her.
