Hi everybody.
I'd like to know if these senteces are different meanings...
A:I'm just chilling ( does it mean that I'm hanging out around the house or I'm relaxing without making some noise?)
B: I'm hanging around (does it mean that I'm relaxing at home without doing something special and without making some noise?)
C:I'm screwing around ( does it mean that I'm relaxing and making some noise)
Am I right? If I'm wrong, could you give me some explanation with some exemples in every context I can find these expressions?
Thanks .
Noise has no relevance to any of these. All basically mean that you are relaxing and enjoying yourself, maybe listening to music, maybe drinking, maybe chatting with friends.
thank so much for your explanation, but can you give me some examples or some dialogues by using the verbs I wrote before? ( to chill-to screw around- to hang around)
Your sentences seemed fine.
A What are you doing tonight?
B I'm chilling out/screwing around/hanging around with Bob and Sam. Want to join us?
