What´s the difference between a squid and an octopus?
Different sizes. Squid are small, Octopus are usually much larger. The are related, but biologically slghtly different.:
What about ¨giant squid¨? If the octopus used for the bigger size, why the term?

They're also shaped differently. A squid has an arrow-like shaped head, whereas an octopus' head is oval-like and rounded. At least, that's what the students determined last Friday, on our school trip to the Shanghai Aquarium.![]()
