    Default Prepositions

    If it is poor grammar to use a preposition at the end of a sentence, what is a correct way of asking "Where are you from?"

    I think "Where are you from?" is good English...

    That is a "rule" that certainly doesn't exist now, if it ever did.

    "Where are you from?" is just fine.

    Things like "Where are you at?" are NOT fine. That should just be "Where are you?"
