I think both are fine!

Both are correct, but have slightly different meanings. "Spoke with" implies an exchange and "spoke to" doesn't (although they are used almost interchangeably).

For instance, if someone has done something wrong, "I'll speak with him about it" is a little gentler than "I'll speak to him about it."
