    Default how dare_______?

which one is correct? How dare he! or How dare him!
If according to rule, the latter is correct because objective pronouns come after verbs. But i read the former in books. Which one should i use?

How wicked of him and How dare he are different constructions. How dare he if I'm not mistaken is very near to How can he...

Dare is apparently something called a marginal modal, and what's more it's unique. (Other marginal modals are need, ought and used [to].) I'm attaching this helpful link but I admit I have a hard time following the explanation :) I'm hoping somebody qualified jumps in here.

    Marginal Modal dare

[native speaker but not a teacher, obviously. I'm here to learn too, and I certainly did today]

How can he... is followed by other words to continue into a sentence, but what i read is just it:
    How dare he!

    that's all! it's a sentence/thought on its own.

Maybe you thought of the construction : "I dare you! / (or: I dare him!)" (to do smth)- meaning: "I challenge you / him "(to do smth bold).

Yes, How dare he! is similar in construction to How can he!
How dare he! follows something someone has just said.

No, "How dare he!" is correct. It means 'How dare he (do)(say)that!'
'I dare him.' (subject, verb, object) would be correct.
