    Default get it

Some child is playing near our gate, would you get it?. Tell them to go far away to play.

    Is this sentence correct?

I mean, the "get it" as "deal with it".

    Please help me.

    get it, Informal.
    a. to be punished or reprimanded: You'll get it for breaking that vase!
    b. to understand or grasp something: This is just between us, get it?
If you want to tell the children go some other place to play, you have to say : go away or get lost [ get lost is a little too harsh, though]

    Default Re: get it

The phone is ringing, would you get it?

Someone is knocking on the door, would you get it?

I know the above sentences are correct.
Then, why the original question is wrong?
