Hi all,

Do you know the grammer term for the following sentneces. Please help me.

I gave him the tickets. I bought them yesterday.

He told me the story. He heard it from his friends.

I believe what you are trying to do is create one sentence out of the two that are given. If this is so, you are trying to make relative sentences. Try:
I gave him the tickets. I bought them yesterday.

I gave him the tickets which I bought yesterday.

He told me the story. He heard it from his friends.

He told me the story which he (had) heard from his friends.

I think, but I am not sure, it is the so-called< run-on sentence>, which is short and clumsy.
