I thought it should be "to be heading".

Rachel: Well, I was kinda supposed to be headed for Aruba on my honeymoon, so nothing!

thanks
I would say it could be either one there. If you want to know why she said "headed for" instead of "heading to" you will have to ask the writers.

question again.

Ross: Today's the day Carol and I first.. consummated our physical relationship. (Joey is puzzled.) Sex. ..You know what, I-I'd better pass on the game. I think I'm just gonna go home and think about my ex-wife and her lesbian lover.

Joey: The hell with hockey, let's all do that!

Chandler: (trying to stop Ross leaving) C'mon, Ross! You, me, Joey, ice, guys' night out, c'mon, whaddya say, big guy, (Pretending to punch him in the stomach.) Huh? Huh? Huh?

Ross: What are you doing?

Chandler: (stops) I have no idea.

Joey: C'mon, Ross!

Ross: Alright, alright, maybe it'll take my mind off it. Do you promise to buy me a big thumb finger?

What does the words in brown mean? Is it some kind of food?
thanks :D

I think i understand. I remember in that episode Ross got a really big thumb finger to cheer for NewYork Ranger. That might be talking about it.

Am I right?

Dear teachers,

Why would Phoebe say so? Is "Bethel" a bad name or something?

Ross: My friend Bethel rescued him from some lab.
Phoebe: That is so cruel! Why? Why would a parent name their child Bethel?

Many people would consider "Bethel" a rather odd name.

Is it because of its meaning?
I checked some dictionary. It says "Bethel" means "house of God".
Well, that IS a little bit odd as a name...

Thanks, Ron...

I think it is because of the sound of the name. It is not, I think, very appealing.

:)
