Close. Though I'd like a job that paid $50,000 a month too, so perhaps you mean year.

Hi Barb,

How much do people in the US usually earn in a month?

I'm a little nervous we'll get the "off-topic alarm signal" here. $5K a month is considered a good living for many people. A very well paying job could be $10K a month. I can't imagine supporting a family on less than $2.5K a month. However, most of us think in terms of our annual salary, so that would be $60K, $120K, or $30K repectively. Compared to the overall population, very few people earn more than $120,000 per year, so the example of $50,000 a month ($600,000 per year) is certainly very enticing!
