I'm a student and I have a homework about making short lesson plan.
My topic is about idiom "to put up with someone".I have to make a sentence ,and a Language Focus and Functions.Please give me some idea ,i dont know how and where to start .

"To put up with someone" is to tolerate that person's behavior. Perhaps it means to be pationt with someone when you don't want to be.

Some examples of "put up with" in a sentence:

I'm really bored with my job, but I put up with it because I need the money.

My boyfriend smokes and I hate that cigarette smell, but I put up with it because I love him.

All these new security restrictions at the airport really irritate me, but I put up with it because ultimately they're trying to make travel safer for all of us.
