1- What does Couch potato & live wire mean ?

2- And what does (infinitive) mean?

3- What is the different between :

I'm going to byu a new copmuter .
I'm planning to byu a new copmuter .
I'd like to byu a new copmuter .

I'd rather to byu a new copmuter .

check my sentences :
im I wrong to choose couch potato or live wire?

I'm going ti walk for more than half an hour today . = live wire .

I'd like to spend my next holiday lying on a beach doing nothing .= couch potato .

I'd rather play sport than watch it .= live wire .

I'm going to play an outdoor sport( e.g.tennis,soccer ) this weekend . = live wire.

I'd like to spend more time in bed than I normally do . = couch potato .

In a strange city . I'd rather go sightseeing than stay in my hotel room . = live wire .

I'd rather take the lift than walk up a flight of stairs . couch potato

I'm planning to go skiing and/ or surfing sometime this year . couch potato .

The couch potato wouldn't go skiing.

A "live wire" is not really an opposite to a "couch potato." It has more to do with being feisty in personality than active.

I'm going to buy a new computer. Definite plans.

I'm planning to buy a new computer. This is your plan. It may or may not happen.

I'd like to buy a new computer. You would like to, but you have no definite plan to do so.

I'd rather to buy a new computer. You would rather have a computer than something else, and the listener should have an idea of what that other thing is.

But has it some different between I'd rather buy a new computer and I prefer buy a new computer ?

There is no difference - they both mean that you would prefer a new computer than struggling with the old one.
