Hi!
Could you tell me,please, which of the following sentences is correct:
1. Guess the names of the sports taking into account their defining elements.
2,Guess the names of the sports, taking into account their defining elements.
3.Guess the names of the sports by taking into account their defining elements.
One more: is the use of comma correct in the following:
4. Depending on the context, fish and cake may be countable, too.
I read somewhere that there are times when too is not preceded by a comma.Can you, please, explain?
5.Is "gurl" an informal term for "girl" in both British and American English?

Yes ["too" here means "also"]

There is too much information for me to take on board.
He is too old to go to sea
They went to Portugal too.

But isn't "They went to Portugal too" the same as
"They also went to Portugal."
and therefore, one should add a comma before "too"?
It might seem a minor point, but we, foreigners, can't "feel" these things.

It is one of those little things in English - yes, it does mean also, and no, you don't need to insert the comma before too in this context. It is used when there is a change in thought.

1. Complete the crossword with the correct comparative forms...
2. Fill in the crossword with the correct...
I do need to know which one you would choose.
