difference
sir/madam,
happy to join usingenglish.com forum. My doubt is whether we can use 'at the time of' for 'during the days of' as the following.
slavery was very common during the days of Abraham Lincoln.
slavery was very common at the time of Abraham Lincoln.
Which is correct? Why? please help me.
