Well, in my opinion it needs to be "translated" into idiomatic English. (That should tell you something.)

It's wrong! Is it not common(doesn't sound well) or is it really grammatically wrong?

I would say both that the grammar is not good and that nobody talks that way (that I know of). That sentence doesn't make sense in English.

"How many are you in your family?"
