Default Question tags.

Hello, I am Naseema, english teacher,
I would like to know whether this statement "Let him go". has any question tag.

Recently we had a discussion on the subject question tags, and this statement has come as a part of discussion. I would like to get clarified
Kindly respond as quickly as possible.

I doubt that you can use a question tag with Let him go. It is an imperative, and imperatives do not lend themselves to question tags.

I'd use 'Let him go, will you?' This would reduce the force of the imperative.

I would use "won't you", but I agree with TDOL that it reduces the force. Remember that "you" is the implied subject of imperatives. :wink:
