Can anyone explain "critical buzz"? It usually use in the entertainment column in magazine something about movie star.

It means the critics (television, magazine and newspaper writers who report on celebrities and entertainment) are talking about it among themselves and also writing about it. When a celebrity is working on a film, sometimes critics are able to see early bits of it before it's released. If they start writing favorable reports about the project, this is called a "critical buzz," and often means that by the time the film is released, the public will already be used to reading good things about it and will flock to the box office.
