what is the relevance of researching on language proficiency of high school teachers in public schools?

It depends on the research, but if the language proficiency of teachers is inadequate, then what chance do the students have? Naturally, not all subjects require the same standard, but I can't see why teachers,and I am one, should be exempt from such research.
