Check if this sentense is correct?

I remember he was teasing Mary in the bookstore and she just slapped him in the crowd.
I remember when I studied in Berlin, I cycle everyday.

I remember when I studied in Berlin, I cycle everyday. Since the cycling was done in the pqst, this verb should be cycled.
