I need your advice
Hi teachers
A few students asked me help them learn English[they are beginners]. They need to learn English because they are going to work in a supermarket in London in December this year. What would you advise me to start with? Shall I start with greetings, introduction formulae..? I usually start with the phonetic alphabet , when I have time enough, because I think that this is one of the most important problems foreign people confront with, when studying English.
Thank you very much in advance.

Hi, Teia!
I think the pronunciation is very important in learning a language. Just make a short course of what you usually teach. It's very important to have lessons every day if the period is short. I hope you can manage with it.

Hi Harry
Thank you for your advice. I know it`s very important to teach lessons every day but I don`t know if my students want it. I`ll talk with them. It`s a good advice. Thank you again.
Cheers

If they really want to improve their English they'll have no choice. I think I have written about an Italian businessman who took 90 lessons in 90 days. I remember I used a textbook "Essential English" by Eckersley. As the textbook is rather old I was writing my own lessons in addition to it.
