Hi i was just having trouble with verbs etc adn knowing the different categories of them aswell as other language categories such as noun. I was hoping that you could tell me What part of speech is 'come' in the following sentence adn why?

I still see it as a "verb" here. The speaker invites the second person to come(to his place perhaps) this Sunday and they will know about everything.

"Why don't you come to church this Sunday?"

thanks for the reply i see your point of view.
Does anyone think though that the sentence is rather implying 'when Sunday comes we'll know everything' if so wouldn't that mean 'come' would be different.
If you culd be as specific as possible in categorising it that would be good thanks.
