Original sentence:
She asked you to leave only because she wanted you to be safe.
Transformation:
She only had your................ she asked you to leave.
Key word: heart (3 to 8 words)
I was thinking of ..safety in her heart when... but I canīt find an idiom o fixed expression with this meaning. Any idea?
Thanks
You are not far off - I think you may find "safety at heart" fits.
Anglika, your hint was my first choice. Nevertheless, I didnīt find a suitable model in the dictionaries with that preposition (there is a fixed expression meaning what sb is really like despite appearances .. be a socialist at heart)
What about this one?: She only had your safety close to her heart when .... (having a lot of importance)
Thanks in advance. Brad
From dictionary.com: have at heart, to have as an object, aim, or desire: to have another's best interests at heart.
