    Default tenses

Please, explain to me the difference between : I learn English and I am learn English. Also when someone who is waiting calls saying: I have been waiting for you and I am waiting for you, what's the difference?
Second question: His actions produced little by way of results. Is it the same as His action produced little in terms of results?

    1a. I learn English every day. <routine, habit, fact>
1b. I am learning English right now. <at this present time>

2a. I have been waiting for you for a long time. <continuous period of time>
2b. I am waiting for you right now. <at this present moment>

    3a. by way of results
Meaning, by looking at the results, we see that his actions produced little effect.

    3b. in terms of results
Meaning, his actions didn't produce significant results.

So, when I say I learn English it has no time reference and when I say I have been learning English I point out that it has been going on for a long time?
