Hi
I know that LASER is an acronym meaning Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. My question is :
Are the following interpretations of laser correct, too? I found these interpretations in a book and I don`t know which one is correctly used:
Light Amplification by Stimulating Emission of Radiation, or
Light Amplification by Stimulation Emission of Radiation.
Which one would you use if you were to interpret or develop the meaning of this acronym?
Thank you very much.
