slang and formal english

I have a metal musical band and I do the lyrics, so is very important for me to know, whether the structure most be formal or I can use the english like a slang expresions, for example the fragment of "AGAINTS THE FEARS"

If you are asking whether modern song lyrics can contain English slang, I can't think of any that don't. Song lyrics, like poetry, do not have to follow rules of style and grammar. Anything goes is the rule.
