Talking Plural Forms

Can someone correct for me the following plural forms, thank you very much for your advice.

Donkey - Donkeys
Tomato - Tomatoes
Photo - Photos
Mango - Mangoes
Chairman - Chairmen
Life- Lifes
Parent - Parents
Museum - Museums
Story - Stories
Antenna - Antennas
Octipus - Octopusies
Daughter-in-law - Daughters-in-law
Index - Index
Theory - Theories
Smith - The Smiths
Curriculum - Cirruculums
Mouthful - Mouthfuls
Pendelum -Pendelums

The plural form rules I know are the following:

Words ending with "o" and which are nouns that can be eaten take the "oes"
example: tomato = tomatoes

Words ending with "o" and which are nouns that cant be eaten take the "os"
example: piano - pianos

Words ending with "y" take the "ies"
example: baby = babies

Words ending with "ss", "sh", "ch", "z" & "x", take the "es"
example: miss = misses
push - pushes

Are there other important rules that I can learn so I wont doubt the plural exercise anymore , thank alots
