I am thrilled to have found and to have joined this resource site. I hope I can get help with this topic.
The name of our hometown minor hockey league team is The Laredo Bucks, plural, with an S.
Some have been promoting the team on websites & published material and are using slogans that read: Buck Nation or Buck Fever. Both of these terms are singular, without the S.
My question is, what is the proper way to describe the words Nation & Fever as it pertains in relation to the team's plural name? I would like to convey this message to those that need it, so that proper grammatical corrections can be made if necessary.
My sincerest thanks!

Welcome to the forums!
Properly [and after looking at their website] in this case, it should be "Bucks".
In some cases, people may be trying to be too clever with eye-catching headlines. And of course individuals' blogs are notorious for misuse.
