| Is there any difference at all between "in searchy for a better life" and "in search of a better life". |

| In my experience: I am searching for an honest man. I am in search of an honest man. NOT: I am searching of an honest man, and NOT I am in search for an honest man. However, while "searching of" sounds completely wrong, "in search for" sounds "less wrong" to my ear. [not a teacher] |
