    Default someone

What do you call someone who is very somewhat annoyingly insistent?

You could say they were "pushy".

"He's so pushy. He keeps asking me to go out with him, even though I've told him I'm not interested."
    pushy

    adjective excessively self-assertive or ambitious.

Yah, I think that kind of person is a nuisance. I do agree with you blouen that sometimes you can be a bit pushy.

There is a good word that means roughly the same as 'nag', but often from a position of inferiority - 'pester'. 'Pestering' is what a toddler does at the supermarket.

Oddly, while a singer sings, a pest pesters.

    PS
Marketeers who aim advertising campaigns at children so that they will pester their parents to buy something are said to be 'harnessing pester power'.
