Default Question about essay format
Is a definition essay basically the same thing as an Informative essay. if someone could please elaborate on this that would be great. Thanks

In many ways they are similar. With a definition, you have to ensure that the information you give is relevant; if you are defining democracy, there's little point in explaining the history of how we arrived at universal suffrage; we need to understand the concepts behind it.
