In "We have a measured rate service for local calls. It gives your local calls for a low monthly rate plus a rate of per call and per minute.",
does "a rate of per call and per minute" mean "how much it costs per call and how much it costs per minute",
or "how many times you make a phone call and how long you talk on the phone in total"? |

This is a bit strange. It does mean how much it costs per call and how much it costs per minute". Maybe there is a minium charge per call. If not, I don't see why you have the two together. ;-( |

This makes me confused about the meaning of "rate".
And also...it doesn't sound very logical... |

Total minutes of calls: 2 minutes x 5 calls = 10 minutes x FEE = $__.__
Total Charge: Calls $__.__ + Minutes $__.__ = $__.___

A rip-off is an unfair exploitation of someone, especially when they don't have much choice. It seems unfair to charge twice for the same call.  |
