Default playing going to play

What is the difference between am playing and going to play


Mary: Are you free for lunch tomorrow?
Chris: Sorry! I'm playing tennis with Yong Soo.

Chris: Sorry! I'm going to play tennis with Yong Soo.

The present progressive is used when arrangements have been made, so it sounds more fixed and impossible to cancel.
