I was run after by a dog. Hi,
A dog ran after me.
For this sentence, can I say it by using the passive voice? That is, I was run after by a dog. Does this sentence sound ok?

Yes, they are same in meaning. However, "CHASE" is far more commonly used than "RUN AFTER" when it comes to describing this kind of situation. According to Google, "CHASE" easily trumps "RUN AFTER" (20,000+ entries vs. a paltry five hits)!
