'Sick' or 'ill'?
She has been sick for a week.
The above sentence, someone says 'sick' can't be used, and instead, 'ill' must be used. I looked up a dictionary and found they have the same meaning. What's the difference?
Always thanks for your help.

In my opinion, the sentence is fine. Those who try to make a big difference between sick and ill are splitting hairs, IMO.
