My HR has been sending emails concerning motivational quotes.
They are titled "Thought of the day"
I thought this was wrong and the Title should be "Thought for the day"
Could you help out on this?

I suppose it will depend whether this is the thought that is being promoted as the one thought of that day, or whether it is saying this is the thought to be considered/kept in mind today.
I agree with Anglika's interpretation. And, if I received something in my email entitled "thought of the day," I'd probably get smart-alecky and tell HR that I don't have to work anymore, because I don't want to crowd that Thought of the Day in my mind with other thoughts.
Excuse my sarcasm; I've never been a fan of bosses sending or posting "inspirational" quotes and thoughts. Let me come in and do my job without the forced emotional cheerleading. :bad-word:
