How to use "Approach"!

I hava written this paragraph below and wonder it is right or wrong. Please point it out if you see some mistakes. Thanks a lot.

Nowadays, we have a lot of electronic devices, for instance electronic dictionary; computer; electronic books...etc, which support us in studying and make it easy to approach to the new knowledge.

Nowadays, we have a lot of electronic devices, for instance electronic dictionary; computer; electronic books...etc, which support us in studying and make it easy to approach to the new knowledge.

I would change your semi-colons for commas, and alter "approach to" > "acquire", deleting "the" in front of "new knowledge".
