Which approach would be the best one for a class in which the students motivation is related to conversation? Should I focuss only in fonetics or....sth else?

Focus on conversation, on getting the students speaking. Introduce a topic (warm-up), then add in words and phrase they'll need to know, then extend the topic to practice; for example, dialogue work or a debate.
