Spin on one's heel

A movie helmer is talking about his last movie, and at one point he compares this one with another movie. His (a horror one) is kind of cat and mice inversion (that's to say, a female victim becomes a dangerous aggressor), and helmer says: "It's like 'Wolf Creek' spun on it's heel almost.'

Well, 'Wolf Creek' is an Aussie movie he's comparing his one to.

What's the meaning of "spun on it's heel" That his movie is quite similar to "Wolf Creek' referring situation but differs from it in the inversion of roles, precisely?

I think it is much the same as "turned on its head" - the situation is reversed. in Wolf Creek, the [female] backpackers are kidnapped and assaulted by a bushman; Helmer's film seems to reverse this with the female character being the aggressor.
