2-It was my house at which we held the party, not John's.

I have seen them. Î didn't intend to post the same question twice, but when I posted this first version, it did not appear on the list. I thought it had got lost in the cyber-space (or had ended up in cyber-nowhere), so I posted it again, and while I was at it, added a couple of sentences.
