Interesting discussion [though a little off topic]. So long as users of locally idiomatic English realise that it is a different language from "proper" English, there shouldn't be a problem.

I found in Nigeria that those who spoke pidgin [a dialect derived from English] did not necessarily understand English proper - which made communication interesting, and I love some of the peculiarities of the younger dialects. Jamaican English can be a real pleasure to listen to.

There are very many Englishes, and one has to allow them their space. However, for international communication, sticking with "proper" English is probably wiser.
