Hi ,
What is the difference between clothing and clothes?
1- women's clothing is on the ground floorand every thing for children ,including shoes, is on the the first floor
2-I always put my summer clothes away away in October
clothing is the collective term for garments
clothes = items worn on the body [garments]
Could u plz make it clearer?
waiting ur response
best regards
I think what Anglika means is that
Clothing is is a general collative noun for garments that are worn.
However when you refer to your own personal garments you usually refer to them as clothes.
