Do you have any resources/recommendations for a letter of appeal to a health care provider that has sent a person to collections? I am trying to get the submission to bad debt reversed, and need to produce a compelling letter in order to convince them to do so.
The debt has been paid off.
Thank you for any assistance you can provide, I am not getting anywhere with my searches online.

You need to start the letter with a brief outline of the way in which this situation arose.
You then need to confirm that the debt has been paid, with the evidence [date of payment, cheque number if it was paid by cheque, any other form of record showing the payment as made].
You then say that you wish this situation to be resolved as soon as possible,
