Talking inverted word order

i need to know how can i use inverted word order with past perfect, but i just speak spanish. jejeje thanks!!!!

You’re probably thinking about sentences where the auxiliary verb had comes before the subject, as in:

Had I seen your question when you posted it in October, I would have replied before today!

This means the same as If I had seen…. etc with normal word order; but the inverted word order (Had I ...) is more formal.
