Default go/come on (in a game)

What do the spectators cheer for the athelets at the sports meeting?

"Go , Go, go" or what?

Or in a game, if we want to cheer for our home team, can I shout
like" Go U.SA" or "Go China"?

I think it depends on whether you wnat to encorage them in British or American English. Here in Britain, we tend to use 'come on'- at the moment it's the European football championship and you here a lot of 'Come on, England'.

In America, we use both "Go!" and "Come on!"
