Default information-plural use

Our school sent a form that we were to sign that states, "I certify that all the information as stated above are true". This has such an odd ring as information seems to have been referred to as a whole, in which case "is true" would make more sense. Which form is correct?

Default Re: information-plural use

In American English, information is always a singular collective noun.
