Default what are dynamic....

What do the terms dynamic, static, round, and flat mean in referring to characters in a book?

A dynamic character is a person with energy who affects the development of the narrative.

A static character is a person who lacks development as a character.

A rounded character is one with a good balance of constituent parts

A flat character is one who is two-dimensional - lacking depth and basically boring.
