| I am writing our organisation's annual report and am unclear on the correct use of hyphenating words such as "...on-site visits." I would appreciate your views on this. Kind regards Usha Mistry |

| Hi, When a compound word, such as 'on-site', functions in a sentence as an adjective or an adverb, it is hyphenated. Iza Quote:
