Default grammar help, please.

Could someone please help me with the grammar in the following sentence?
I appreciate your help.

...seeing these changes in him raises questions about him as a character.

should the verb 'raise' be in the singular or in the plural?

Well you have not given the complete sentence so it is hard to answer. (the "..." means part of the sentence is missing)

This can be a complete sentence though so I will answer as if it is one. I will change the last few words though.

Seeing these changes in him raises questions about his character.

Seeing these changes in him is a gerund acting as singular noun so the verb should be raises...not raise.
